Hilton Park opens up the opportunity for a green industrial and warehouse scheme with enhanced biodiversity and the chance to provide a significant boost to the local economy. Nurton has a 20-year hybrid promotion/option agreement in place on this 200-acre green belt site. Our proposals are for a strategic employment site delivering circa two million sq ft of space and much needed new jobs. A new road linking J11 M6 with J1 M54 to the South is proposed by Highways England and will cut through the Northern part of the site by 2025, providing increased local connectivity. It follows a similar timetable to South Staffordshire District Council’s local plan review process, with which we are engaged, having recently provided a detailed technical delivery document. There is interest in the site already from two large occupiers.
