This edge of town residential development set on a 50-acre farm on the Western edge of the market town, is a sustainable new community delivering 340 new homes, a primary school, care home, a medical centre and retail unit. Originally outside the Local Plan Boundary, Nurton was able to secure outline planning consent for the complex and technically challenged site, after demonstrating a shortfall in the Local Authority’s housing land supply. Working with the local community, we agreed to deliver the medical centre earlier than planned at request of the GP Practice, selling the balance of development land to housebuilder, Davidsons. The primary school is currently being delivered, creating much needed school places for local residents.
