Our plan is for an edge of town, low density, sustainable extension, of up to 300 family homes, including affordable units, with significant green infrastructure to provide both screening and a significant gap to the nearby village of East Hagbourne. Working in partnership with a local GP practice we are also investigating the provision of an additional medical centre for the town, already identified locally as a key requirement.
Our 10-year promotion agreement is on a 42-acre area of agricultural land to the South of the town centre and we are working with two adjoining landowners on a further 53 acres. We will be monitoring the on-going delivery of new homes, in a bid to challenge the current adoption version of the local plan.
