Paul is a chartered accountant and attained a senior management role at a top 20 firm before joining Nurton as Finance Director in 2006, becoming CEO in 2021. With deep expertise in the real estate market, he now leads and co-ordinates all group activities, managing the company’s structure and transactions.

Paul has overseen complex deals, including a corporate acquisition, property disposals, and joint ventures. His strong commercial focus keeps projects under constant scrutiny to ensure they deliver results.

Outside work, Paul is passionate about football and cricket.

Sallyanne joined Nurton Developments in May 2023 as Personal Assistant to David and Paul. Bringing with her over 20 years of experience in the property and legal sectors, she manages the smooth administrative operations of the business.

Outside of work, Sallyanne enjoys playing netball, spending time with family and friends, and following Aston Villa FC.

Keith qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1966 before spending nearly a decade in West Africa. He returned aged 30 to establish a number of private companies, the foremost of which, Takare plc/Care First Group plc (formerly Nursing Homes Ltd) was sold to BUPA in January 1998 for approximately £300 million. The company, the largest operator of its type in Europe, employs in excess of 14,000 people.
He continues to act as Non-Executive Chairman of Listers Group Ltd, Automotive Dealers, together with a number of other private companies.

He was privileged to serve as High Sheriff of the West Midlands in the year 2016/17 and was awarded an OBE in 2019.

Working with Nurton since 2008, as Development Director before becoming an external consultant in April 2024, Rupert’s background is in the major consultancies specialising in agency, investment funding and development work. He was MD of CB Richard Ellis’ Birmingham office after first working at CBRE in London and also a Director of Cushman & Wakefield (DTZ).

His primary role is sourcing acquisitions across Nurton’s Strategic Land platforms & ensuring delivery of agreed business plans and where necessary in identifying joint venture partners.

Rupert’s outside interests include military history & medal collecting, travel, rugby union & exploring the outdoors with his wife and his two labradors Nel & Ted.

Guy Bowden has rejoined Nurton Developments in a senior leadership role after 17 years with Bridges Fund Management Ltd. Guy will focus on helping to drive the company's growth strategy.

He brings over 40 years of experience in the property industry, with a proven track record of identifying, acquiring, and adding value to a wide range of properties and assets.

Guy also serves as a non-executive director on the board of the University of Wolverhampton Science Park. Outside of work, he enjoys playing a number of sports and watching the best football team in the Midlands - Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Ian is a chartered surveyor specialising in development management, with a 30-year history in property working with PLC companies, as both client and consultant managing commercial and residential projects and mixed-use schemes.

For Nurton, Ian’s primary focus is managing its expanding strategic land interests and the ongoing development management of existing projects.

Outside work, Ian enjoys being in the countryside and joins David Bradshaw’s keen interest in classic cars, maintaining a small collection of cars spanning the 1930's to the 1970's.

Ashley joined the Nurton Group and formed Nurton Capital Ltd in October 2025. Prior to joining, Ashley spent 30 years in the Midlands investment market joining Knight Frank in 2003 and leading the Birmingham office from 2012. Ashleys was sector agnostic in his approach and focussed on Capital Markets and development advice and transactions to a wide variety of investors from private HNWI's to Property Companies, Developers, Institutional Funds and PE.

Nurton Capital will focus on opportunistic transactions where the market has become dislocated from a favourable occupational market. Again sector agnostic, Nurton Capital will be co investing in projects with partner investors.

Outside of Work, Ashley enjoys watching all sport and is a season ticket holder at Stoke City. He also enjoys country pursuits, skis and sails and on occasion races his historic racing car.

Ian heads up Nurton Retail Ltd, a joint venture he formed with Nurton Developments. Focusing on the sourcing and delivery of retail and roadside development opportunities across the UK, Ian brings over 25 years of retail and development experience, having previously held key roles at Lidl, Wickes, and The Junction Retail Park Fund, where he served as Development Director.

Also a former Senior Director at CBRE, Ian has worked as a Development Consultant for companies such as Hammerson Plc, Mercian Developments Ltd, Strathclyde Pension Fund, Estates and Agency Properties Ltd, and Barcroft Estates, managing and delivering substantial mixed-use and retail projects.

Ian’s outside interests include cycling, managing his son’s junior football team, and cooking.

Peter joined Nurton in July 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role leading the Midlands' Planning & Development team at JLL. During his tenure, Peter played a pivotal role in representing Nurton in various strategic land promotions, such as Branston Locks. His main responsibilities at Nurton include identifying, evaluating, promoting, and guiding development opportunities through the intricate planning process.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Peter finds enjoyment in team sports, leisurely dog walks, and unraveling the mysteries of cryptic crosswords.

Working with Nurton since 2012, David is a chartered surveyor with 20 years’ experience in the commercial real estate sector, having previously worked with the UK arm of Dutch property company, Wereldhave N.V, handling a mixed property portfolio weighted towards offices & industrial.

At Nurton, David asset manages mainly its office portfolio and works in partnership with property agents to implement and oversee its property strategies and smooth management of its investments.

For leisure, David enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors.

Joining in 2021, Arthur is a chartered accountant with a grounding in audit across various sectors, with over six years of experience managing company finances and helping teams make informed decisions.

At Nurton, Arthur focuses on clear reporting, careful planning, and keeping things running efficiently and effectively behind the scenes. With a practical mindset and attention to detail, Arthur supports the day-to-day and long-term financial health of the businesses within the group.

Outside of work, Arthur is a keen golfer and an increasingly reluctant West Bromwich Albion supporter

Antony is a practice trained, qualified accountant with over 5 years experience in senior finance roles across infrastructure and financial service industries.

He joined Nurton Developments in 2025 as Finance Manager, where he focuses on internal control, reporting, financial analysis and supporting and providing technical guidance to the finance team.

Outside of work, Antony is a big sports fan. He is a (more recently proud) Birmingham City supporter who also enjoys cricket, golf and pretty much any other sport he can turn his hand to.

Jodie joined Nurton Developments' finance team in March 2023 and is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification.

With a solid foundation in practice and over five years of experience in the accounting industry, she is now focused on building her knowledge of the property sector.

Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending time with her horses, and the newest addition to her family - her dog, Star - as well as exploring new destinations.

Chloe became part of the Nurton Developments finance team in June 2024, bringing three years of experience in the finance sector. She is currently pursuing her AAT qualifications, demonstrating her commitment to advancing her accounting expertise.

When she's not crunching numbers, Chloe enjoys exploring new destinations and unwinding at home with her three beloved cats.

Philip joined Nurton in 2006 to oversee the day-to-day business operations of Flexibase Ltd, which operates in Birmingham and Derby.

With 25 years’ experience in implementing and administering IT and telecoms systems, he is responsible for IT within our group of companies.

In his downtime, Philip enjoys woodworking and spending time outdoors
